Pathaan 50 Days In 800 Screens

King Khan Shahrukh Khan's comeback vehicle Pathaan which was released on January 25, 2023 turned out biggest blockbuster in Hindi films giving a big boost to Bollywood. Though the Hindi film industry got a couple of hits, it still needed a huge blockbuster to revive it's lost box-office since pandemic. Pathaan served that purpose. Today, on 16th March 2023 as it completes its 50 day run in 800 screens. The Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone starrer has broken all records.

Fastest 100 crores, 200 crores and 300 crores were scored in a jiffy, and then it went on to go where no other Bollywood film had ever gone before setting up the 400 Crore Club and then the 500 Crore Club. Pathaan also surpassed the lifetime collections of Hindi dubbed versions of KGF Chapter 2 and Baahubali 2. Globally too Pathaan is currently the 5th Indian film to gross over Rs 1000 crores, only behind Baahubali 2, Dangal, RRR and KGF 2.

The film has scored Rs 540 crores till now including all languages with Rs 522 Crores in Hindi version. It is still going strong despite new found competition in the form of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar last week. The biggest news is that Pathaan will be playing in 800 screens on its 50th day, making it the only Hindi film (not dubbed films) to retain these many screens in week 8.

There is still some ammunition left for Pathaan and it will keep giring at the ticket windows till Bholaa arrives on 30th March. Let's see where will it end its glorious run at the Box-office. SRK has two exciting releases this year, Jawan and Dunki. Both are big films and the entire film industry has their hopes pinned on these two films.
