Sai Dharam Tej Wants Virupaksha 2 To Be A Notch Higher Than Its First Part

Sai Dharam Tej is currently basking in the success of his Mystical Horror Thriller Virupaksha. The film which was released on April 21st in Telugu has declared as a blockbuster right from its first show. The film got break even within 10 days and entered profit zone. Virupaksha is still drawing heavy crowds cashing in the poor results of new releases. 

Then Makers decided to release the film in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages on 5th May and did aggressive promotions by entire team at Chennai, Kochi and Mumbai. The film opened to very good word of mouth in Tamil and Malayalam languages. But, it faced tough competition from much talked about The Kerala Story which is also released on the same day. 

Sai Dharam Tej during his promotions has spoke with Hindi press and spilled beans about Virupaksha 2. Sai Tej said, "Once you see the film ending, you see a small snippet where we are showing the revelation to the second part. So we are in the plans, but not right now. Slowly. Because the standard of writing is very high; Of Virupaksha. So Virupaksha 2 has to match up to the standard or go up and be better. There is an idea and we are just waiting for the right time and the right story".
