Music director Raj passed away

Music Director Raj passed away. Raj born Thotakura Somaraju forged a successful music combination with  Saluri Koteswara Rao. Both composed many super hit songs and chartbusters in their association. It is coming out that Raj breathed his last today leaving everyone in tears.

Raj and Koti composed more than 3000 songs for 180 films. Double Oscar Winner Rahman respected Raj and Koti saying that he considers them as his brothers.

Condolences are pouring in from all quarters. The Raj–Koti duo was among the many prominent South Indian composers for whom A. R. Rahman has worked as a keyboard programmer for 8 years.

Film fraternity and music lovers are in deep shock over the demise of Raj and this ended the golden era in Tollywood. Music lovers cannot forget the hit songs tuned by Raj and Koti and both of them are hailed in Tollywood for their achievements. Raj and Koti bagged the Nandi award for their music for Nagarjuna's Hello Brother.
