People Media Factory Struck Big Deal With Adipurush

Prabha's upcoming film Adipurush is a big-screen adaptation of the holy mythology, Ramayanam. Prabhas is seen as lord Ram while Kriti Sanon as Sita. The film was initially announced to release in January 2023. But due to severe backlash for its teaser, makers changed plans and reworked the entire film to improvise the VFX and finalized the release date as June, 16. The film's Telugu states distribution rights have been fetched by a popular Tollywood production house for a huge amount.

News is that People Media Factory, which has been constantly churning out huge films, Bro with Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej, Prabhas - Maruthi's film. The banner has recently delivered huge hits Karthikeya 2 with Nikhil and Dhamaka with Ravi Teja. It is being reported that People Media Factory fetched Adipurush for AP and Telangana for Rs 170 Crs. This is the highest deal for a film in Telugu states after RRR was sold for Rs 226 Crs.

Another part of the deal comprises People Media Factory is onboard as a producer for Prabhas's upcoming film Spirit in Sandeep Vanga's direction. It was initially a collaboration of T Series, Sandeep's Bhadrakali Pictures, and UV Creations. As a part of Adipurush's Rs 170 Cr deal, UV Creations stepped down and People Media Factory joined as producers. 

Adipurush which is slated to release on June 16 has started its promotional activities. The first song Jai Shree Ram became an instant hit while the second song Ram Siya Ram is scheduled to release on May 29. Sunny Singh is seen in Lakshman's role while Deva Dutta Nage played lord Hanuman. Saif Ali Khan did the role of Ravana. The pre-release event of Adipurush will be held on 6th June at Tirupathi.
