The recently released Bollywood film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan opened to good reviews and good numbers at the box office. The film registered good numbers during the weekend. When everyone doubted how it will sustain the weekdays, it springs a surprise by holding good numbers even on Monday and Tuesday. The film is holding well and is emerging as a Hit at the box office.
Zara Hatke Zara Bachke was released in theatres on 2nd June. The audience loved the fresh pair of Vicky and Sara's chemistry in the film, and they are flocking to theatres to watch it. ZHZB managed to cross the Rs 30 crore mark at the Indian box office within five days of its release. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film has been able to hold strong despite competition from The Kerala Story and Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse.
The film opens with Rs 5.25 Crs on its first day and has minted Rs 4 Crs on its 5th day showing a stronghold at the ticket windows. The film deals with the love story of two college lovers, Kapil (Vicky Kaushal) and Saumya (Sara Ali Khan) who are madly in love with each other. The comedy of errors after they get married is narrated hilariously. The comedy, chemistry, and songs worked well with the audience.
The week 1 now seems to be heading towards Rs 34 crores, which gives the film a shot at not just Rs 50 crores but also maybe more. Even if the buy one get one offer is factored, these are still pretty solid numbers for a film the trade didn't expect much from to begin with.
