Motion Poster Of Yatra 2 Evokes Emotions

Talented filmmaker Mahi V Raghav, who earlier made films in multiple genres like Paathshala, Anando Brahma, and Yatra. He scored a superhit with Taapsee starrer Anando Brahma and shot to fame with the biopic of Late YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Yatra stars Mammootty in the lead role and the film became a success. More than that it helped YSRCP to create a positive mood about the party in the people of Andhra Pradesh. 

Now, as elections are getting nearer, Yatra 2, a biopic is under making. This time it is about the journey of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy son of YSR, to power and become Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. While the first poster of Yatra 2 was launched recently, Today makers unveiled the motion poster of Yatra 2. As expected, the motion poster showcases the prominence of YS Rajasekhar Reddy and his son and Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Tamil actor Jiiva is expected to play YS Jagan in the drama and a formal announcement on the same is expected soon.

The motion poster begins with a panoramic shot of a hand-shaped statue, where YSR  addresses the crowds in his signature style and calls them his brothers, sisters, and family members. With Santosh Narayanan’s background score, the glimpse focuses on the footsteps of YS Jagan, who later tells the masses, ‘You may not know me now..but remember I’m the son of YS Rajasekhar Reddy."

Shiva Meka is bankrolling the film under V Celluloid in collaboration with Mahi V Raghav’s Three Autumn Leaves. Santhosh Narayanan is scoring the music for the biopic which’ll have cinematography by Madhie.  Makers are planning to release the movie in February 2024.
