Rajini was Shankar's third choice for Robot

This is what called as fair telling and Super Star Rajinikanth is more known for. After attending the Tamil and Telugu audio releases of his upcoming film ‘Robot,’ Rajinikanth was in Mumbai for Hindi version audio release and here is the stage where Rajini said something shocking about Shankar.

Speaking about the idea and implementation of ‘Robot,’ Rajini said, ‘Actually, I wasn't the first choice of Shankar for the hero role in Robot. Shahrukh Khan and Kamal Hasan were his first choices but due to some problems, both couldn't give Shankar his dates and thirdly I came into picture.’

With Rajini coming into the frame, result is known and India’s costliest film is here before us.
