Who's the next Andhra CM?

The tragic death of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy has been a ‘tremendous loss' for the Congress Party in the state.

After sudden death of a mass leader, who is the next to lead the state? question haunt the minds of Senior Congress leaders and Opposition parties. Dr YSR was the one man Army for Congress in Andhra Pradesh.

The top contenders for the Chief Minister’s post are:

K Rosaiah: the Finance Minister in YSR's cabinet is among the top contender for the post. He is believed to be one of the close aides of YSR. He is the one of the most senior Congress leader in the state.

K Jana Reddy: is among the most prominent cabinet ministers of the ruling Congress state government led by Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Jaipal Reddy: The Union Urban Development Minister is also eligible candidate for the Cm's job.

The situation broke out after sad demise of Dr YSR has led to leadership crisis in the state. Though Congress Party is mourning death of its mass leader, it also put the efforts to find YSR successor.

Finding right replacement of YSR will be a Herculean task for Congress Party as the former was known for his popularity among common men.
