Surekha harming Jagan's political career: Shankar Rao

Secunderabad Cantonment Member of Legislative Assembly Shankar Rao on Saturday blamed former minister Konda Surekha of harming the bright future of Kadapa Member of Parliament Jaganmohan Reddy.

Challenging her to a debate on the contributions made by both of them to the Congress party, Mr Shankar Rao stated that he had been working for the party since his student days while Ms Surekha has no history of contributing  to the party.

Speaking to media persons at the Assembly premises, the Cantonment MLA alleged that Ms Surekha’s repeated statements have had the effect of harming the image of the party High Command. He said that her disappointment at not being invited to the AICC session was baseless since she had spoiled her political chances by speaking against the party repeatedly.

Mr Shankar Rao cautioned Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy to be careful about his followers who are harming his political career by their words.
