The MLA’s criticism come a day after five judges –P Durga Prasad, Suri Appa Rao, KG Ravi Shankar, N Ravishankar and NR L Nageswara Rao, all hailing from Seemandhra regions took oath as Judged of the state High Court on Monday.

Harish Rao alleged that the government has not recommended a single Telanganaite name for the Judges’ post.

The MLA appealed to the government to appoint Telangana people in judicial posts and do justice to them.

“Though Telangana lawyers agitated for justice in law department recruitments, the government has not taken any concrete measures in this regard,” he pointed out.

Harish Rao demanded that the government give priority for Telangana people in the appointment of law secretary posts and added that the government should prove its commitment by appointing people from Telangana in legal bodies.
