Viveka meets Jagan for Courtesy

Brother of former Chief Minister Ys Rajasekhara Reddy and Agriculture Minister Y S Vivekananda Reddy on Thursday called on former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy at the latter’s residence in Jubilee Hills. This was the first meeting of the two after YSV was sworn in as Minister in the Cabinet of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. He was accompanied by his wife.

Talking to media persons, YSV described the visit as a ‘courtesy’ call and denied reports which appeared in a section of media that he and his family has differences over his joining the Cabinet. He termed the media reports as baseless and far from truth. “I have no differences with Jagan. Ours is a united family,” he stated.

When the reporters asked about political developments, he said we have not discussed any political issues in the meeting. “There is no political importance to the meeting”, he said. After the meeting, when the Minister was boarding his car, loyalists of Mr Jaganmohan Reddy shouted slogans against him and demanded that he resign from his post.
