Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar on Monday called on all political parties to make their stand clear before the crucial January 6 conclave in New Delhi to discuss the Justice Srikrishna Commission Report before it is made public.
Lashing out at the various political parties who claim to work for a separate Telangana state, yet act in the interests of an integrated Andhra Pradesh, Mr Sudhakar said that the time has come for them to make their stand clear.
He said that leaders in all the political parties should who are in favour of Telangana must not only unite but also declare where their loyalties lie, before the Report is made public.
Talking to media persons at CLP premises, Mr Sudhakar asked the all party leaders to work in a coordinated manner until the Centre announces its decision of a separate Telangana state.
The MLC asked the Congress party leaders not to fall in trap of other parties, which have given a call to boycott the crucial all-party meeting and decided not to send representatives.
Mr Sudhakar Reddy also made his objection clear on the statements of former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s son and former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy that the Congress would get third position if by-elections to Assembly are conducted.
