Idupulapaya, Sept 15 : The women Ministers in the state cabinet, Minister for Home Smt Sabitha Indra Reddy, Information and Public Relations Minister J Geetha Reddy, Minister for Roads and Buildings Galla Aruna Kumari and Minister for Minor Irrigation Sunitha Lakshareddy on Tuesday paid homage to the late chief minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at Idupulapaya, where he was cremated with state honours.

It was learnt that these ministers’ vehicles were stuck in traffic jam on the 15-km road leading to the Idupulapaya estate, where the late chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was laid to rest here on September 4.The traffic came to a halt at around 12 noon and several people missed the funeral due to the jam. Senior ministers, MLAs, MLCs and film personalities were stranded in the traffic jam.Talking to media persons, Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy said that the government would take action against those who are responsible for lapses in making arrangements for the YSR’s funeral.
