Former State Road Transport Corporation chairman Gone Prakash Rao on Tuesday appealed to the Congress High Command not to induct Nizamabad MP Madhu Yaskhi Goud in the Cabinet as he was allegedly involved in a human trafficking case.
Talking to media persons at Public Gardens, Mr Prakash Rao opined that Mr Yaskhi Goud was not the right person to hold a Ministerial berth since he was allegedly involved in trafficking human with the help of fake documents.
If the Centre inducts him as Minister, he would pose a threat to National security and would leak vital information out of the country, Mr Prakash Rao pointed out.
The senior politician further added that Mr Yaskhi Goud has so far evaded the law, despite being involved in such criminal activities only due to his ‘reach’. He added that the city police have allegedly colluded with Mr Yaskhi Goud and not registered a case against him.
The former RTC chairman also revealed that he would be sending copies of all relevant documents which would prove Mr Yaskhi Goud’s complicity in the crimes to the Prime Minister and the Intelligence Bureau so that action could be taken against the MP.
Mr Prakash Rao further alleged that the Centre was trying to dilute the Telangana movement by offering plum posts to Telangana MPs.
