“I am deeply hurt by the state government‘s apathetic attitude towards solving the problems in my constituency,” the MLA said.

He added, “I have brought the problems to the notice of the concerned authorities but no action has been taken so far.  The only option I have now left is to undertake a Padayatra to bring the indifferent attitude of the state government before the people.”

He appealed to the government to give a fresh leaf of life to the Ibrahimpatnam “Pedda Cheru” by making arrangements to bring at least one TMC of water from River Krishna.

The MLA said that this can be done by laying pipelines. He also demanded that the constituency be declared as drought-prone.

Apart from this, Mr Kishan Reddy demanded the tabling of the T-Bill in the upcoming Budget Session of Parliament.
