Demanding that the Government ‘immediately’ reimburse the professional colleges to ensure that they continue to function, former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday began his week-long ‘Deeksha’ at the ‘Varalakshmi Pranganam’ at Indira Park.

The site of the camp where the Deeksha is being held has been renamed the ‘Varalakshmi Pranganam’ by Mr Jaganmohan Reddy as homage to the B Tech student who allegedly committed suicide after being harassed by her college for being unable to pay her fees.
