Ready to resign for T, claim MPs

Telangana Mps Manda Jagannatham and G Vivek on Friday stated that the Telangana Mps are ready to submit their resignations for the cause of Telangana.

Talking to media persons, the MPs said all 11 Telangana Mps from the region would submit their resignations from their posts if such a need arises.

The MPs said the 11 MPs would stage protests on Monday in Parliament demanding introduction of Telangana Bill. “If the need arises, all elected representatives will submit their resignations en mass from their posts and mount pressure on the Centre,” they claimed.

“The MPs will intensify their agitation until the Centre introduces Telangana Bill in Parliament,” the MPs stated.

They said the Telangana Ministers have sought the appointment of Congress Core committee member Pranab Mukherjee to discuss Telangana issue. Mr Mukherjee has promised to give the Ministers sufficient time to discuss issue, the two MPs revealed.

The elected representatives from Telangana would chalk out their further course of action after holding discussions with Mr Mukherjee, the MPs said.
