TDP, Congress intentionally targeting YSR

Ysr Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday alleged that both ruling Congress party and Telugu Desam party have hatched a conspiracy and were intentionally resorting to mudslinging against former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

Talking to media persons after launching latest phase of the Odarpu Yatra at Sringavarapu Kota in Vizianagaram district, the former MP regretted the targeting of the late leader. This is simply not the practice in India, he said.

Recalling his father words that “how long we live is not important, but living in hearts of people is important even after the death”, Mr Jaganmohan Reddy unveiled YSR statue at a busy centre in Sringavarapu Kota..

The yatra will cover 30 mandals and the former MP will console 17 families who lost a member in the aftermath of YSR’s sudden death.

Mr Jaganmohan Reddy’s close aide and former TTD Chairman Bhuma Nagi Reddy has been busy supervising Odarpu yatra arrangements in the district. This is the former MP’s first official political programme after the launching of Ysr Congress Party.

MP Sabbam Hari and former minister P Sambhasiva Raju were also present.
