The EAMCET competitive examination is also scheduled to  be held on May 8.

Keeping in view the plight of the students who would be writing the test, Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal was requested to prevail upon the Election Commission of India for postponement of the by-polls.

Reacting favourably to the appeal made by the EAMCET panel Convenor, the CEO has assured that he would bring it to the notice of the Election Commission the need to postpone the by-poll date.
