Talking to media persons here, Mr Naidu alleged that the Dr Ayyar who is treating Satya Sai Baba at the Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences was not a professional doctor. He added that Ayyar is a friend of one Satyajit, an aide of the godman. “This Satyajit is himself responsible for the Baba’s precarious health condition,” Mr Naidu alleged.

The former TTD chairman further said that the Baba was admitted to the super-specialty hospital after being cheated by his own aides. “Satya Sai Baba is not being provided proper care at the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital by Ayyar,” Mr Naidu further alleged.

The former TTD chairman further demanded that the state government step in and immediately shift Satya Sai Baba to another super-specialty hospital so that he gets better medical care along with proper food for his survival.

Alleging that Satyajit has not allowed anyone near the Baba for the last six months, Mr Naidu wondered why the government is not taking this issue seriously.

“Despite Heavy Industries Minister J Geetha Reddy being aware of what is happening, and she being an ardent devotee of Satya Sai Baba, it is surprisging that she is not taking any action to set things right in the SSSIHMS,” the former TTD chairman said.

He also demanded that the state government appoint a committee to oversee the affairs of the Satya Sai Trust and make public the properties under its control.

Meanwhile, the doctors of the SSSIHMS released the morning medical bulletin on Friday, which said that Sathya Sai Baba continues to be critical but stable.

Sai Baba has been undergoing treatment for multi-organ dysfunction.

The medical bulletin, released by SSSIHMS director ANSafaya said that "Sathya Sai Baba continues to be in a stable state of health. Most of his vital systems have shown positive response, but this response is slow.”

The bulletin further said that ‘all clinical parameters of health are nearly normal and are showing improvement over the previous values.’ The bulletin further added that, “Satya Sai Baba continues to be on assisted ventilation and on intermittent slow dialysis."

Sathya Sai Baba was admitted to the super-specialty hospital on March 28.
