Ponguleti expresses pain at Krishnadas's comments

Regretting the statement of Minister for Public Works Minister Dharmana Prasad Rao’s brother D Krishnadas that he ‘does not know about Congress president Sonia Gandhi’, All India Congress Committee secretary Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Monday stated that he was pained to hear the comments.

Talking to media persons at Congress Legislature Party office, Mr Sudhakar Reddy stated that Mr Krishnadas has should not have made such strong statements, especially after being elected on the Congress party ticket. He should have kept in mind that the party has moulded his family and gave him a high position in the society, the senor leader said.

He said the MLA was cheating people of the constituency by moving closely with YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy after being elected on the Congress ticket.

“It is not good that an MLA, who elected on Congress ticket, is showing loyalty towards the YSR Congress Party,” Mr Sudhakar Reddy stated.

He urged the High Command to initiate disciplinary action against all MLAs, who are indirectly extending support to Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy so that anti-party activities are stopped. This would also enhance the image of party among people, Mr Sudhakar Reddy pointed out.
