Jayashankar was not a Politician

Prof. Jayashankar who is dead few hours ago is hailed as the great personality who worked for the sake of poor. Numerous occasions where in separate State Movement leaded to momentary wars between Telangana and Seemandhra leaders, there is no where an instance where Jayshankar is criticized by any of our politicians. He is so called ‘Ajata Shatruvu.’ 

Jayashankar always pressed only on the political process that is to be initiated for separate State while remained only as a catalyst in igniting the brains of Telangana by educating them on reasons of backwardness. He vividly analyzed and revealed the systematic negligence and suppressive factors that resulted in 500 years of under-development in Telangana. Examining the issue by dividing into component of history, education, employment, irrigation and culture was a new approach formulated by Jayashankar which he preached till the last moment of his life.

‘In this last phase of struggle for Separate State when people of Telangana are to realize their dreams, loss of Jayashankar is irrecoverable. The best way to make his soul rest in peace is only through achievement of Telangana,’ said KCR and his daughter Kavitha before rushing to Hanamkonda.
