He said the leaders would press for the implementing of the sixth option recommended in the Justice B N Srikrishna Committee Report, which clearly opposed carving out of separate state from Andhra Pradesh.

Responding on Union Home Minister P Chidambaram seeking a unanimous opinion among parties for taking a decision on the issue, Mr Sambhasiva Rao said the consensus on the issue can be reached only through dialogue.

Responding on the resignation of Telangana leaders, the MP found no fault in the decision and stated the representatives resigned in order to fulfil the aspirations of the people of their constituencies.

He added that leaders from Krishna district are also ready to submit their resignations in the event the Centre signalled that it was ready to announce a separate Telangana state.

Mr Sambhasiva Rao further questioned whether the Centre is ready to announce a separate states wherever the elected representatives submit resignations.

The Seemandhra Mps Forum leader revealed that he had met PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana to finalise the list of Seemandhra delegates to go to New Delhi.
