Telangana is my birth right: Sarvey

“Telangana is his birth right and he is a pucca Telangana man,’ claimed the Congrress MP Survey Satyanaranain the Lok Sabha on Friday. Participating in the debates on Telangana issue he said that the Telangana region is burning and teh people are agitating on different announcements. The aspirationw of the Telangana people should be  understood, he appealed and said that it is the responsiblity of the centre to stop people from committing suicides in the region.

Sarvey Satyanarayana said that now Telangana is  burning  and creation of a separate state is the ‘If all the members from the region had resigned, then who would have raised the voice for Telangana in the house,’ he said and added that keeping this in mind he did not resign. He strongly opposed setting up of second state reorgansation commission and said that it will not serve any purpose. He also said that formation of any regional   board on the lines of Gorkhaland will not do justice with Telangana.   

Sarvey Satyanarayana demanded  Telangana with Hyderabad and said that the Justice Srikrishna committee report is not a Supreme Court verdict. If the NDA had given Telangana in its tenure then the present situation would not have arisen, he commented.
