Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday stated that the Telangana people would be forced to live like permanent bonded labour if the state formation is delayed further.

Participating as chief guest at Telangana State Lecturers Sangha meeting `Telangana Sangrama Bheri’ held at Harihara Kala Bhavan in Secunderabad, K Chandrasekhar Rao said the Telangana state formation was getting delayed mainly due to lack of unity among the Telangana leaders and parties. The life would be very difficult for Telangana people if the Telangana is not granted statehood this time, he said.

Kcr alleged that Telangana region suffered major injustices mainly during Seemandhra leaders’ tenure. Regarding the Telangana congress leaders, Kcr said, they were riding on a tiger, which is very dangerous for them. He said the Telangana Congress leaders were not feeling shame in supporting the government while failing to protect the interest of people in the region.

The TRS chief rubbished the statements of Seemandhra leaders that Telangana region developed due to the investments made by them. He challenged them to disclose what they have developed in the region, particularly in Hyderabad.

Stating that Seemandhra leaders have adopted a divide and rule policy, he expressed doubts over the success of T agitation. However, he threatened that in event the of T state not possible with agitation this time, he would consume poison. He said that he would continue agitation despite failure of the Centre to announce the Telangana state.

Earlier, Kcr participated in executive committee meeting of TRS held at TRS Bhavan and extended his party’s support to employees’ general strike starting from September 13. He called upon people to make success the massive convention being organized under aegis of TPJAC at Karimnagar on September 12.

TRS general secretary Madhusudhana chary accused the state government of showing discrimination towards Telangana farmers in supplying seeds and fertilizers. He demanded that the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy take steps on war-footing to mitigate farmers’ woes by convening a meeting with Centre.
