The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president, Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao (Kcr), on Monday underwent surgery on his eye. Expert ophthalmologists from the Centre for Sight performed the surgery on the left eye of Mr Chandrasekhar Rao. The TRS chief is expected to be discharged sometime on Monday itself and is advised three days rest.
The surgery is successful, the TRS leader, Mr Vinod Kumar said adding that after he recovers from the eye problem in three days he will be touring his home constituency of Mahboobnagar. From the hospital bed he enquired about the flood situation in the State, in Telangana in particular, and asked the cadre to take part in the relief operations, Mr Vinod Kumar added.
