T people are against strike

Vijayawada Mp Lagadapati Rajagopal on Saturday claimed that 90 percent of the people in Telangana region are opposed to general strike of Telangana employees as it has caused lot of inconvenience to them.

Talking to media persons after enquiring about impact of  48 hour Rail Roko agitation, being organized under aegis of Telangana Political Joint Action Committee, with passengers at Vijayawada Station, Lagadapati Rajagopal stated that Telangana people were worst affected with the general strike of employees followed by Rail Roko agitation. Considering the seriousness and sensitiveness, he said the government was observing restraint and silence.

Lagadapati said that the general strike of employees would only aggravate the problems of people and it would not solve the Telangana issue. He expressed confidence that the Centre would announce its decision on the issue soon and bring peace and communal harmony to the state.
