Pocharam describes Congress voters as 'T' traitors

Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA from Banswada assembly constituency Pocharam Srinivas Reddy on Thursday described all Seemandhra settlers in his constituency as traitors of Telangana state.

Addressing a press meet at Telangana Bhavan first time after being elected from Banswada assembly segment, Pocharam warned that the people of his constituency would teach a fitting lesson to Seemandhra settlers who voted against him in the by-elections.

Pocharam said that the TDP and Congress would not have secured their deposits if "they would have contested separately". He alleged that both Congress and TDP colluded in the elections to defeat him. However, the Telangana people did not fall in the trap and taught a fitting lesson to both of them, he said.

The Trs MLA said that the Congress candidate Srinivas Goud got secured his deposit in the elections due to TDP’s active support. He said he would have won with high majority in the constituency if there was not RTC strike on polling day.

Meanwhile, Pocharam informed that he would take oath as MLA on Friday.
