Hyderabad,Oct 13: Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday while hitting out at the inefficiency of the Government officials in executing the relief works in flood affected areas of Andhra Pradesh he complimented the non-governmental organisations (NGOs) for their excellent work in providing succour to the flood affected victims in the stateInteracting with the media after his return from the flood affected areas in the state he lashed out at the government departments for their inefficiency in tackling the flood victims.He said it would not be proper to talk only about NTR Trust but on the whole all the NGOs have done a commendable job in meeting the needs of the flood victims.
They not only helped the flood victims but they also enabled the TDP activists who were involved in the flood relief work to execute the relief work with out any confusion.The TDP chief thanked his brother in law Nandamuri Harikrishna who donated Rs 20 lakhs to the NTR Trust. He said that the TDP activists have sent 3 crore 82 lakh SMS messages to people all over the country and they responded very well by contributing their mite towards the flood relief fund. He thanked all those who had generously donated for the great cause.The clothes, essential commodities and the cheques received from the public towards flood victims will be handed over to the respective district collectors after holding discussions with them, Chandrababu added.
