TDP demands discussion in the House on controversial GOs

Telugu Desam Deputy Floor Leader Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu on Thursday came down heavily on the State Government for not coming forward to take up a discussion on 26 controversial GOs to end the logjam in the House.

Talking to media persons at Assembly media point, Muddu Krishnama Naidu said that the government was afraid of taking up discussion as its lapses would get exposed in the GOs. Though the Opposition parties clearly told the government to place the GOs before the House at floor leaders meeting, the government has been dillydallying on the issue and finding ways to divert the attention of House, he pointed out.

The TDP leader demanded that the government at least announce what steps was planning to take against the 'tainted' Ministers and the controversial GOs. He said that the Opposition was ready to cooperate in smooth functioning of the House smoothly if the government makes its stand clear on the GOs.
