BJP's base has improved in Telangana: Venkaiah

Bharatiya Janata Party senior  leader  M Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday stated that the outcome of by-election result in Mahbubnagar Assembly Constituency indicates the party has strengthened its base in the Telangana region.

Talking to media persons over the victory of BJP candidate Y Sreenivas Reddy from Mahbubnagar constituency, Venkaiah Naidu said that the by-election results clearly hints that the people want a change of regime as they were fed up with the corrupt Congress party. Stating that the Congress party has completely lost its shine due to its failure in announcing Telangana state, he said the BJP would make concrete efforts for the formation of separate State and honour its promise.

Venkaiah Naidu predicted that the Congress party would be wiped out from the region soon if it fails to announce a favourable decision on Telangana state.
