Former minister and Punganur MLA Peddireddy Ramachnarareddy on Wednesday said that the Congress position in the State was badly affected since N Kiran Kumar Reddy became the Chief Minister.
Talking to media persons at Lakeview Guest House after lodging a complaint with Congress emissary Vayalar Ravi over the Chief Minister's style of functioning, Peddireddy said that he has appealed to Ravi to change the Chief Minister in the State to revive the party position. “Kiran Kumar Reddy should be removed from his post immediately in order to strengthen the party at all levels,” he stated.
Peddireddy alleged that Kiran Kumar Reddy has totally failed to coordinate with the leaders and in seeking suggestions from party seniors over the government programmes and policy decisions.
When the reporters asked Peddireddy about whether he was leveling such allegation for his non-inclusion in the cabinet, he said that the minister's post was not important for him and strengthening the party was need of the hour. He asked the reporters to wait for another two months to get a clear picture on it.
