TRS predicts massive political changes after by-polls

Telangana Rashtra Samithi Siricilla MLA K Taraka Rama Rao on Thursday predicted that the State may witness massive political changes after the announcement of by-election results on June 15.

Stating that uncertainty prevailed in the State politics due to ensuing by-elections, he said that clear political picture would emerge once the election results are out.

Talking to media persons, Taraka Rama Rao said that the Congress party would be forced to take a decision on Telangana after the by-elections. He predicted that the government would collapse if it fails to take a decision on the statehood issue. “The decision on Telangana is important for the survival of UPA Government at the Centre,” he pointed out.

Accusing former chief minister Ys Rajasekhara Reddy and Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy of looting the wealth of the State, he demanded that the CBI seize properties of Jagan in Bengaluru and Ooty. He also urged CBI to probe against the ministers of YSR Cabinet, who played a role in accumulation of wealth by Jagan by misusing their official position.

Expressing confidence that the TRS candidate would win from Parakala Assembly constituency, he said that the people of the constituency would teach a fitting lesson to Konda Surekha for cheating them in the name of Telangana after her election.

Responding to CBI freezing bank accounts of Sakshi group, he said that the government should extend support to the employees during the hour of crisis.
