Telangana Rashtra Samithi Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao on Tuesday stated that N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who was nominated to the Chief Minister's post by Congress president Sonia Gandhi in a sealed cover, would never feel the sentiments and aspirations of Telangana people.

Expressing solidarity to the agitation launched by some leaders at Siddipet, Harish Rao accused Kiran Kumar Reddy of instigating the Telangana people by issuing controversial statements and insulting the culture and traditions of their region. He said that the Chief Minister has been trying to suppress the long pending demand for separate statehood.

Stating that the Telangana region has a great history, he said that the Chief Minister did not understand the culture and traditions of Telangana people as he hails from the Rayalaseema region. He warned Kiran Kumar Reddy of serious consequences if he did not mind his language against the Telangana.

Harish Rao asked the ministers and MLAs from the region to explain as to why they have remained mute spectators despite the Chief Minister making comments insulting the Telangana sentiment and people’s aspirations.
