Hyderabad,Oct 22: The United States Ambassador to India Timothy J Roemer on Thursday called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah at his Chambers and had discussions with him.Interacting with the media, Roemer said that he had fruitful discussions with the CM. Expressing grief over the fury of recent floods in the four districts of Andhra Pradesh he offered condolences to the bereaved families who lost their dear ones in the floods.
On behalf of the U.S. government, Ambassador Roemer offered his condolences to the late Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara’s Reddy’s family as well as to the families of those who died along with the Chief Minister on his mission.Recalling YSR,he said that Dr Reddy was a strong supporter of U.S-India friendship.
