Don't trust KCR: Krishna Dist MLAs

Congress Mlas from Krishna district on Sunday asked the Telangana people not to believe Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao’s statements over the formation of separate State.

Talking to media persons at the press conference, MLAs Nalladi Vishnu, Jogi Ramesh and V Srinivas alleged that Chandrasekhar Rao was cheating the people of region by announcing that the Centre would take a decision on Telangana state by September 20. They said that now KCR has changed his stand and announced that he would intensify his agitation from August 20 as he had received feelers that the Centre planning to delay decision on statehood.

The MLAs alleged that KCR was issuing such statements to protect his own identity and in order to "mint money" in the name of agitation. As part of agitation, he also lured the MPs, MLAs and Swamy Goud, the Telangana Employees' Joint Action Committee chairman, of cabinet berth in the event of bifurcation of State and cheating them to sustain the agitation, they alleged.

They said that the State would witness progress and development in all sectors if it remains united.
