Kiran to continue as CM till 2014: AICC Secretary

All India Congress Committee secretary K B Krishna Murthy on Tuesday denied reports that appeared in a section of media that the Congress High Command would change Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Talking to media persons here, Krishna Murthy termed the media reports as speculative and said they were not credible. He said that the Congress High Command would never change the leadership on flimsy grounds. He said that the party would continue Kiran Kumar Reddy as the Chief Minister till the 2014 elections.

Responding to the resignation of Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasad Rao, he said that the Congress High Command and the Chief Minister would take a concrete decision on it soon. He said that revamping of Pradesh Congress Committee and District Congress Committees would be taken up soon apart from filling of nominated posts with senior and loyal leaders.
