Telangana Political Joint Action Committee Chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Wednesday stated that there was no question of postponing the Telangana March on September 30.

Talking to media persons after meeting Director General Of Police V Dinesh Reddy at his office seeking permission for the March, Kodandaram alleged that both Union and State Government have hatched a plan to spoil the March and have been rejecting the police permission for the same. He also demanded that the government stop illegal arrests of Telangana activists to dilute the March.

Assuring that the March would be organised in a peaceful manner, he asked the DGP to provide proper security to it and ensure that it passes off in an incident-free manner.

Employees JAC convener Swamy Goud said that the DGP has asked the JAC to defer March due to Ganesh immersion and biodiversity convention. However, the JAC made it clear that it would never cause any law and order problem in the city during Ganesh immersion and biodiversity meeting.
