Mandali promises all steps to promote Telugu

Official Languages Commission chairman Mandali Buddha Prasad has assured to take all steps for the promotion of Telugu language in the State.

Talking to reporters after assuming charge at H-Block of the State Secretariat here on Thursday, Buddha Prasad said that measures would be taken to ensure the proper implementation of Telugu as the official language at all levels. Further, he said that the Commission would play an active role during the World Telugu Conference to be held in Tirupati during December this year.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajya Sabha member K Chiranjeevi welcomed the appointment of Buddha Prasad for the post. As an experienced politician, He expressed hope that the Commission would leave no stone unturned for the promotion of Telugu language.
