Former minister and Congress MLA Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy on Monday blamed Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen withdrawing support to the Congress.
Talking to reporters here, Peddireddy said that the Congress has lost the support of MIM due to the strange behaviour of Kiran Kumar Reddy. He said several Congress MLAs were unhappy with the functioning of the Chief Minister.
Peddireddy reiterated that he would resign from the Assembly if the Congress High Command fails to replace Kiran by the end of this month. He said that the Central leadership should consider his removal in view of MIM's decision to pull out of Congress-led UPA at the Centre. He said the party would suffer immense damage if it does not replace the Chief Minister immediately.
