Hyderabad,Oct 30 :I am continuing in the ministry only to fulfill the wishes of late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh but not with a view to cling on to the post of ministership,’’ said Sabita Indra Reddy Minister for Home, here on Friday.If my resignation is in any way going to help Jaganmohan Reddy, then I am ready to quit,’’ she further added.Referring to Konda Surekha’s resignation from the cabinet on Thursday, she said Surekha’s resignation will have its own impact on the party.Meanwhile Minister for health Danam Nagender airing his views on the resignation of Konda Surekha said `` it is very unfortunate that different sections of people are giving a different color to her resignation.
She resigned basically because of her close affinity to YSR and the role he played in grooming her to that stage. We should understand her and honor her personal decision. We don’t have any right to probe deep into her decision and find something wrong with her decision.Do not try to politicize the matter and tarnish the image of Jagan. The High Command knows who is who and how much they are committed to the party, ‘’ he added.Tribal Welfare Minister Mr. Balraj reacting to Surekha’s resignation said that it is her personal decision. ``We will abide by the High Command’s decision. Till the things settle down it is better we hold our peace,’’ he added.Sabbam Hari, MP from Anakapalli commenting on Surekha’s resignation said that Surekaha is a courageous woman to take such a bold step, she stood by her word.
