Naidu faces T-heat in Warangal

The Vastunna Meekosam padayatra of Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu faced the heat of Telangana protagonists here on Thursday. 

Mild tension prevailed when the agitators started raising slogans after Naidu reached Kommala village. However, the police whisked away the agitators and the padayatra went on as per scheduled.

Naidu has so far trekked 1495 km and erased the previous record of YSR who walked 1468 km covering the entire state. Naidu has so far covered only Rayalaseema and Telangana regions. As a land mark of covering 1,500 km, a plaque was erected at Valluru in Sangam mandal.
