PCC leader slams Asad Owaisi for criticising CM

Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary G Niranjan condemned MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi for blaming Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for his arrests in a case booked against him in 2005 in Muthangi village of Medak district during the regime of late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

"Why Asaduddin Owaisi was silent when the case was booked at that time and abstained from attending the court after getting bail in the year 2009. Now he is trying to misguide the people for his personal and political gains," Niranjan said in a statement here on Friday. 

The Pcc General Secretary alleged that Owaisi brothers have always considered themselves as above the law and have no respect for courts. "Owaisi created Bhagya Laxmi Temple issue without respecting the court orders. Now his arrest for not appearing in the court clearly indicates that his disrespect towards the honorable courts," he alleged. 

Niranjan further alleged that Owaisi himself was communal and his allegations against the Chief Minister were far from truth. He demanded that the State Government firmly deal firmly with these communal forces as they have been trying to disturb peace and create unrest among the people, especially the innocent Muslims.
