Reiterating its demand for moving a no-confidence motion against the inefficient Congress government, YSR Congress has said Tdp leaders have no moral right to criticise YSR family members.
When people are in severe distress due to the anti-people policies of Kiran Kumar Reddy government, the Opposition Party has the responsibility to move the no trust motion failing which, Chandrababu Naidu should agree that he has a tacit understanding with the ruling party, party leader Mareppa told reporters here on Saturday.
Instead of handling the political affairs as the situation demands, Chandrababu Naidu and his henchmen have resorted to attacking YSR family members on a day-to- day basis.
After Sharmila's padayatra has become a big success, Tdp has stepped up the attack and has been levelling false allegations against Brother Anil Kumar, who has vehimently denied them, he said.
Every member of the Tdp who has been criticising Brother Anil Kumar has a past history of being on the wrong side of the law. They have no moral right to criticise Brother Anil Kumar who is not in public life, he said.
Chandrababu Naidu has been rejected by the people twice in 2004 and in 2009 and they will continue to do so as he has also failed in playing the role of Leader of Opposition and is adamant to move the no confidence motion at a time when power charges are jacked up abnormally and there is an unprecedented power cuts affecting agriculture, industry and domestic sectors, he said.
'If this is not the right time to mvoe the motion what else is the right time. It is because of this ambiguity and double speak that he was rejected twice while YSR was successful by keeping his promises. Now it is the turn of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to take over to fulfill YSR promises,' he said.
