No Trust Move only for publicity, alleges Cong MLCs

The Congress MLCs on Tuesday expressed confidence that the Kiran Kumar Reddy Government will defeat the No Confidence Motion, if moved by the opposition parties.

Addressing separate press conferences, Congress MLCs P Sudhakar Reddy and MS Prabhakar said that although the opposition parties have a right to move No Trust Motion, but they were doing so only to get publicity. They said that the opposition parties lack issues and were afraid of participating in the discussions on public issues. Therefore, they said that the No Trust Motion was being moved to divert public attention.

While Sudhakar Reddy accused the opposition parties from shying away from its responsibilities, Prabhakar questioned the TRS for linking the Telangana issues with the budget session of the Legislative Assembly.
