Danam slams Anam for criticising YSR

Labour Minister Danam Nagender on Sunday condemned Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy for criticising former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

Stating that YSR was the favourite leader of Congress party, Danam said that it inappropriate to individually blame YSR or any minister for the collective decisions of the cabinet. He said it was incorrect to judge them on individual basis while they took the decisions after discussing the matter in the State cabinet.

Talking to reporters here, Danam described former minister Mopidevi Venkataramana as a victim of circumstances. Further, he said that there was no need for Home Minister P Sabitha Indira Reddy to resign from her post following inclusion of her name as an accused in the Disproportionate Assets case of Jagan Mohan Reddy. However, he admitted that the CBI chargesheet has damaged the image of the government and Congress party.
