Kanna tries to distance himself from GOs case

A day after TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu urged the Governor to sack the tainted ministers, Agriculture Minister Kanna Lakshminaryana tied to distance himself from the 26 GOs case. 

The GO no 12 was issued by the officials as there was a precedence and my role in the issuing of the GO is limited, he said.

He said that TDP President was trying to tarnish his image and alleged that Niadu had his own tales of corruption and is trying to tarnish others. It is for the party high command to take a decision on ministers, he said.

Six ministers were facing charges in the 26 GOs case. While Mopidevi Venkataramana is in jail, CBI named Dharmana Prasada Rao and Sabitha Indra Reddy in the charge sheet. Kanna Lakshminaryana, Geeta Reddy and Ponnala LAkshmaiah are the other ministers who received summons from Supreme Court.
