Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M  Kodandaram on Tuesday condemned the statement of some Seemandhra leaders wherein they feared increase in naxal violence after formation of Telangana.

Talking to reporters after TPJAC's bus yatra reached here, Kodandaram said that the Seemandhra leaders were wrongly trying to link the Maoist violence to Telangana issue. He said that Maoists' presence was not confined to Telangana region. In view of strong presence of naxalites in the coastal Andhra region, will that area be merged with Tamil Nadu State? he asked.
