The Tdp said the illegal mining has cost the exchequer thousands of crores of rupees in terms of mineral wealth, cess and sales tax.He demanded that the company should be asked to pay a penalty for illegally extracting of iron ore for the last four years, damaging ancient temple and for fixing official survey posts to mark boundaries. He said the company should be held responsible for damaging roads and evading tax by misleading with wrong figures of quantity of iron ore extracted.
