Making indirect criticism on the ongoing Rachabanda programme, Bota said that ideally, the programme should have been conducted in village, instead of towns. He said that the needs of the rural masses should be addressed with priority. He, however, did not name Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy who announced and held Rachabanda in different districts in the last few days.

When asked about differences between Tribal Welfare Minister P Balaraju and the Chief Minister, he said was making efforts to sort out the differences, if any, between the two.
